May the 4th be with you

It’s Star Wars day.
Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.

I read this quote a few years ago and it really resonated. If my work and in many ways my life had a mission statement, I would struggle to write something better than this.

Whoever I’m talking to about anxiety; groups of children, teachers or business owners. The message stays the same if we can give you the confidence to get started the rest will follow.

Now might be a good time to admit I’ve never seen Star Wars. But don’t hold it against me.
