People have complicated relationships with sleep.
Parents of teenagers with anxiety frequently tell me they don’t sleep or are active online until late.
Conversations about sleep and anxiety are usually focused on how anxiety prevents sleep. However it’s often the case that poor sleep is increasing anxiety.
Helping and supporting young people to sleep can be one of the most effective ways to reduce anxiety.
